Pyranha Ripper II
The Pyranha Ripper II is a well loved playful half slice river running kayak. Offering a superb on the water control and plenty of speed. Using bow recesses and a peaked front deck the Ripper II can really Rip! The recesses and bow design on the front of the Ripper II ensure that the front of the kayak remains tough and strong through whatever whitewater you might through it down. The tail of this kayak has had a little weight taken out of the side walls which ensure when initiating tailies it gradually brings the bow of the kayak up before accelerating, while the extra volume to the rear ensure once the kayak starts turning it speeds up the rotation. To help the kayak track and keep in a straight line and aggressively turn the rails of the Ripper II have been extended right to the rear of the hull. Added bow rocker keeps the forward momentum while the rails that run from the front third of the kayaks planing hull ensure the ability to move freely on a wave and carve up the surf. Pyranha have curved the front sides of the cockpit up ever so slightly to ensure an even better deck fit.
Outfitted with the Stout 2 outfitting the Ripper II is adjustable to give the paddler the best fit and overall control. Using an adjustable full footplate, step out pillar, hip pads and aggressive thigh braces pretty much every paddler can stay super comfortable for a day on the water.
The Pyranha Ripper II is available in 3 sizes Small, Medium and Large ensuring there is a perfectly size, length and volume kayak for every whitewater river play paddler.
