Old Town Heron 11 XT
The Old Town Heron 11 XT is a lightweight, 11ft touring kayak offering not only good on the water stability, but also a well sized spacious cockpit allowing for easy entry and exit. Its great entry line and mild v-shaped hull enables the Heron 11 XT to cut through the water and hold its tracking line very well, but doesn't reduce the stability of the kayak at all.
Feature packed with a super comfortably padded Comfort-Flex seating system, including an adjustable backrest allows paddlers to get the perfect paddle position. Padded thigh pads and easy to adjust footrests give for a comfortable locked in feel giving better drive out of every paddle stroke, but also allow for a more relaxed paddle stroke and on the water experience should you wish, with a far more open cockpit feel. A rear large oval QuickSeal storage hatch with internal bulkhead provides plenty of gear storage, a moulded in bottle holder in the front of the seat and forward mounted paddle park keeps important items closer to hand. Solid mounted front & rear carry handles make car topping and moving the lightweight Heron 11 XT to and from the water easy. Two rear facing fitted flush mounted rod holders placed just behind the seated position are ideal for those wanting to take on some light fishing, but if that's not your aim then not to worry they do not get in the way.
Old Town have designed the Heron 11 XT to be a lightweight, short touring that comes feature packed with great on the water performance, perfect for flat water paddling on lakes, river and broads.
