Viking Profish 400 Lite
The Viking Profish 400 Lite is a lightweight fishing kayak from New Zealand. The home of some serious kayak fishing and as such, fishing kayaks that really perform well.
If you have problems car topping a fishing kayak, then the Viking Profish 400 might just be a dream come true. The Profish 400 is a superb performance kayak that is stable & feature-packed. This brilliant sit on top fishing kayak weighs in at 30kgs which makes life easier when moving around. For a kayak of this size its lighter weight solves many kayak anglers issue of after a hard day paddling it being difficult getting your kayak back on the car.
The Viking Profish 400 comes with an array of features true to Viking's passion for simple, effective outfitting. 1 oval large front hatch allowing access into the hull, while the 2nd twist hatch opens into a smaller recess that's not directly into the hull. This means that if you need to get something from your storage out on the water there's not risk of a wave flooding your boat and turning you over. The wooden cutting board is great for gutting fish or preparing bait and also has a storage area under that is separate to the internal of the hull. A larger transducer mounting area makes outfitting the Profish 400 with your fish finder much easier.
With a stable yet well performing hull shape the Profish 400 has never had any problems keeping up with other fishing kayaks, Viking have however now improved the bow of the Profish 400 lifting it. This has been done in a similar fashion to the superbly popular top performing Viking Reload. So now the Profish 400 has an advantage over most other fishing kayaks.
