The P&H Valkyrie is a high performance, efficient and fast training focused kayak. Constructed from Corelite X an advanced triple layer HDPE construction with a foam core, this has enabled P&H to give the Valkyrie a stiff hull to really keep that performance focus and all while keeping the overall weight down to only 25kgs. This kayak is all about going as far as possible as fast as possible, racing through whatever waters are in front of you and if using the Valkyrie for training to set the fastest times. Designed to slip through the water with a narrow hull, a longer waterline length than most other kayaks and a bow that features tall side walls to aid with tracking and slicing through the water at speed. The stern has a lovely low volume, while the bow retains a much higher volume, this ensures if you wanted to use the Valkyrie to surf down wind it is right at home.

P&H have made the Valkyrie not only for the paddler looking for the high performance kayak to out sprint his paddling partners but also to be functional so you can still use it on days out, expeditions and to surf.

The Valkyrie has as standard a rudder system that can be deployed and retracted from the jamming cleat just behind the cockpit. Once the rudder is deployed the footpegs in the cockpit are used to control the steering, this allows for paddlers to focus on their paddle stroke and retain forwards speed while the rudder controls the steering. A comfortable seating system is sure to allow a happy full day on the water eating up mile after mile. No matter if you are paddling for the day or going on a multi day expedition there is plenty of storage in the Valkyrie for all of your kit thanks to the 3 storage areas all of which have a built in bulkhead. Deck lines and bungee's are positioned around the kayak to make sure there is plenty of on deck storage as well. Handy little touches like the ability to mount a Silva 70P Compass (Compass Not Included), along with a moulded-in fitting for quick installation of the P&H Kayaks Sail System finish off the Valkyrie outfitting in style.

Coming in 1 size only the Valkyrie fits a wide range of paddlers and covers a wide range of uses, but is ideal for paddlers wanting a high performance fast kayak to cover distance quickly .
