Old Town Discovery - Outfitter
The Old Town Discovery 158 & 169 outfitter spec are the most well known Open Canoes for DOE School use, Hire Fleets, Rental & Activity Centres. Constructed from the toughest 3 layer Polyethylene construction these canoes are both robust & durable renown industry wide for build quality that can handle pretty much anything. The hull shape featuring a shallow arch with mild rocker allows the Discovery 158 & 169 Outfitter to offer superb stability, tracking and handle pretty much any waters.
The Outfitter spec of the Discovery 158 & 169 is kitted out with 2 strong blow moulded plastic seats which all hire, rental and commercial centres love. These seats are maintenance free allowing hassle free use, for recreational paddlers or rental centres looking to add more comfort these seats can even take an optional backrest kit (Available Separately). If you require 3 seater canoes for family canoe hire we can offer a 3rd seat option with either a snap in plastic middle seat or a hung wood web option - for this optional please Contact Us.
