The Old Town Sorrento 106 SK is a perfectly sized, lightweight, short touring kayak for getting out on local rivers and exploring calmer lakes. With a 10.3ft length and weighing only 20.4kgs it’s easy to manoeuvre both on and off the water as well as when car topping.
Designed with a mild v-shaped hull the Sorrento 106 SK is efficient through the water, with a fine entry and exit line to aid with excellent tracking. Should conditions change Old Town have equipt the Sorrento with a skeg which when deployed allows this kayak to track like an arrow. The slightly wider design of the Sorrento 106 SK makes it ideal to promote confidence, allowing this lightweight short touring kayak to feel stable from the get go.
A large open cockpit gives a spacious feel and contains Old Towns wonderfully comfortable ACS2 seating system. This seating system made of a quick drying perforated mesh, with an adjustable backrest and contoured seat base leg lifter give even more comfort than ever. When the ACS2 seating system is combined with an easy to adjust foot pegs and comfortable thigh pads most paddlers can get the perfect fit.The Old Town Sorrento 106 SK also includes front and rear deck storage bungee's and a rear storage hatch with a bulkhead ideal for dry bags or a trolley.
