Thule Tepui Ayer
Thule Tepui Ayer is a compact, rugged 2 person rooftop tent that is perfect for most seasons. Thule have designed the Ayer to withstand the the seasons making perfect for year round adventures. Constructed from high quality & UV resistant materials (coated 600 denier 260G poly cotton blend) for top durability. It also includes a 6.5cm high density foam mattress for additional comfort.
Set up is quick and easy by simply removing the protective soft zipped transport cover, then simply extend the ladder to use as a lever to effortlessly open the Ayer tent box base. After adjusting the ladder to the right height for the ground you are parked on, climb inside the Tepui Ayer to open the windows and fit the supporting struts into the roof and window canopy for an airy feel. Finally roll the protective transport cover to its storage position under the roof tent base and enjoy the roof top view. This whole set up should take less time than setting up a conventional floor tent.
The Tepui Ayer has a weatherproof external roof, this can be removed in good weathers to allow access to the 2 roof skylights allowing you to take in some star gazing before getting a good nights rest. With a window at either side and door at either end as well as the 2 skylights the Tepui Ayer can be light with them all open, but still be protected by the insect meshes on each opening. For a full nights rest simply zip up and roll down all the windows, doors and skylights and the Ayer stays pretty dark. When all zipped up mesh panels offer plenty of ventilation allowing better airflow.
Inside they Ayer Thule have position 4 useful large internal pockets for storing gear, phones and camping accessories. On the external base exterior attachment d-ring style points are perfectly placed for hanging lamps, boot bag storage solutions or other gear to make a better, more cosy, personalised camping experience.
When folded back up into its travel form the Tepui Ayer roof tent has an easy to use compact design, meaning it only sits 28cm above your roof bars. This gives a good aerodynamic profile allowing for better storage which should take less space in the garage when not in use on the Roof rack.
