Viking Profish Reload high performance sit on top fishing kayak designed in New Zealand where fishing is not just a sport - it's serious.
Fishing in New Zealand is a big deal and extremely popular. As such, when a fisherman takes up kayak fishing out there it's going to need a serious boat to deal with the conditions, distances and above all, the fish. As an island they have a great deal of coastline and fishing to go after, just like we do in the UK, and the similar conditions that they face over there makes these kayaks superbly able to cope with the coasts around the UK. Viking have designed the Profish Reload to tick all the boxes and go beyond expectations to deliver unrivalled combinations of speed, stability and features on a sit on top kayak. The basics of the boat are as you'd expect from a good, well thought out fishing kayak. Solid carry handles for easy car-topping, plenty of storage for trolley and kit, large rear tank well...but then there are other options that Viking do to really go the extra mile.
The Tackle Pod System gives you a unit that fits snugly into your Reload which can contain nut just tackle, but your fish finder and transducer as well. This has the benefit of keeping all this equipment safe in one place, but means that when you load or unload the boat from your car, you've not got that additional weight to worry about.
Add into that the fact that the Profish Reload can also be outfitted with a rudder system, the 'Chill Pod' that fits into the rear tank keeping catch or bait fresh, and the brilliant Kid Pod that allows you to take a small member of the family out to enjoy fishing too!
