Islander Koa
The Islander Koa is a brilliant short, lightweight sit on top kayak designed for small adults and children paddlers. Its compact design and playful nature makes the Koa at home paddling on lakes, river and broads but also allows it to mix it up in some small surf as well on those sunny family beach days.
Islander have given the Koa a multi-chined hull shape to allow a stable and forgiving ride, while the keel offers great tracking ability and helps it to smoothly handle smaller surf. All of these features give the paddler confidence on the water allowing the paddler to develop.
Being lightweight at only 18kgs with solid side carry handles makes moving the Koa to and from the water easy and if you are looking for a lightweight kayak to car top then the Koa is ideal. While the Koa beach doesn't come with a seat the Feelfree Canvas Seat or Feelfree Deluxe Seat fit and make this short sit on top kayak comfortable for a day out paddling on the water.
