Grey Owl Voyageur
The Grey Owl Voyageur has a laminate construction comprising cherry, butternut & bass blade, ash & bass shaft plus a cherry & pear wood handle. The voyageur is one of our most popular all round open canoe paddles as it is efficient and easy to handle with little or no flutter and plenty of power. Control strokes are easy and smooth and the Voyageur is an ideal wooden canoe paddle for use on the Norfolk Broads.
The use of different woods has a distinctly recognisable design and also gives a stiffer flex for an efficient paddling stroke.
The Voyageur has a short, wide blade which is ideal for recreational use and also effective in the shallows.
