The Nova Craft Bob Special - Fibreglass open canoe is constructed from a lightweight laminate and is super popular for both solo or tandem paddling, this makes it one of the most versatile canoes around. It combines mild v-shaped hull with a slight rocker, these 2 things combined makes for an easy to paddle day tripper style canoe. This with a short 15ft length and its lightweight (26.3kg) nature it can easily be car topped and portaged around lochs.
The Nova Craft Bob Special is an ideal short, lightweight open canoe for around local fresh waters like the Norfolk Broads. The Nova Craft Bob Special will be just fine, in the right hands, crossing open waters such as large broads, or meandering its way down a narrower river. As standard the Bob Special comes fully fitted with 2 comfortable ash wood bootlace seats, a deluxe contoured carrying yoke, bow & stern ash carrying handles as well as front and rear buoyancy tanks which are factory fitted to save messing around and offer enough floatation that should you end up needing to perform an in the water recovery is much easier.
The Bob Special is a great canoe for both beginners just getting into paddling looking for a manageable canoe or in some more advanced hands really pushing its limits. New paddlers tend to enjoy how easy the Bob Special - Fibreglass is to handle, with good levels of stability helping increase confidence, feeling light on the water with a great glide so you can really cover the distance you're looking for.
