Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport
The Enigma Canoe Prospector Sport is a tough triple layer canoe made from a unique high density foam core laminated polyethylene material. At 16ft long this canoe is ideal for solo or tandem paddling with plenty of capacity left for kit, it can also be used when outfitted with 3 seats as a family canoe.
While most manufacturers make some form of Prospector the Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport has some slight differences. The bow and stern of this canoe are much finer offering a sleeker line to cut through the water with more efficiency, this coupled with slightly less front to back rocker gives a faster paddling touring style of Prospector. While these changes do lower the overall carry capacity a little and make the initial stability slightly less, for paddlers looking to cover some distance in their canoe it makes for an even better on the water paddling experience. Along side this flatter water touring performance the Prospector Sport is also still capable of tackling some simple grade whitewater - paddler skill levels permitting of course.
Outfitted as standard with 2 x wood webbed seats that are sure to keep you comfortable when out on the water, as well as a wooden thwart, a deluxe carrying yoke and bow & stern carry handles the Prospector Sport not only performs well but has the great classic look. While the standard outfitting is based on 2 x wood webbed seats, the Enigma Canoes Prospector Sport can also be supplied with 3 x wood webbed seats or 2/3 Aluminium seats if required (To Order Only).
The Enigma Prospector Sport being manufactured in Canada and constructed from a tough high density foam core laminated polyethylene gives the hull fantastic rigidity that is not as susceptible to oil canning and suits both everyday paddlers and Commercial/Rental markets too.
