If you are short on storage or transport space and looking for tandem kayak without the usual limitations of inflatable's, then the Hobie i14T has to be a serious consideration.
Simply roll this inflatable from the car contained in its’ own wheeled storage bag, unwrap and using the included high speed pump you’ll be on the water in no time at all. The i14T comes with 2 four piece paddles and two sets of Hobie’s 180 Mirage Drive system this has been redesigned for the 2018 models to include Glide Technology and Bluefins as standard this gives increased efficiency and reduces the ressistance and the ability to switch from forward to reverse at the pull of a toggle. The inflatable Hobie range also gives you the option of adding a sailing kit enabling you to be paddle, pedal or sail your way around your favourite spots.
The floor of the i14T can be inflated to a high pressure and incorporates drop stitch technology which gives this inflatable an almost rigid feel and performance. Dry storage space is not a problem with an 8 inch twist and seal front hatch and there is also a bungee covered area to the rear. The self bailing hull is reinforced and has a tough keel strip, while the 2 adjustable high back seats and twist and stow rudder mean that whatever mode of propulsion you choose you will be comfortable and controlled wherever you go.
